Osasuna defender Marc Bertran admits his side have to improve every area of their game as they go in search of their first points of the Primera Division season at home to Elche on Friday.
The hosts have lost their opening four games of the campaign to sit rock bottom of the standings, the only side yet to get off the mark.
They will scarcely have a better chance to kickstart their season than against newly-promoted Elche in Pamplona, with the visitors also without a win this season.
But Bertran told the club website: ``Clearly, we need to improve in many aspects. We think that we have not started at all and we have to improve everything.
``Many things we have not done well at all. Now we have to win the game and show that we can address the situation.
``On the pitch we have to show that we have desire and ability. Three points would give us peace of mind and confidence. The game is very important, more so than it should be at this point in the season.''
Osasuna's last match ended in a 2-1 defeat at Getafe, while they went down 3-0 to Villarreal in their last match in front of their own fans.
Elche have drawn their last three matches to sit just outside the bottom three.
And coach Fran Escriba is hoping to capitalise on any unease at El Sadar.
``That the opponents are in a difficult moment we can benefit us if we start the match well,'' he said on the club website. ``That can generate anxiety.''
