Parma started the campaign far from good. They have only one point after the first two rounds in Serie A. In the first match they failed to break down Chievo at home and played just a goalless draw. In the second round Parma were defeated 3:1 to Udinese at Friuli, despite the goal by the biggest acquisition Antonio Cassano. The coach Roberto Donadoni is already under pressure, as well as the players.
Roma, meanwhile, have an excellent start in the new season. The fans were skeptical about the new project as many important players left the team during the Summer transfer window. The goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has joined Fulham, Marquinhos went to PSG, Daniel Pablo Osvaldo had to accept Southampton offer and finally, Erik Lamela signed for Tottenham. My opinion was that Roma is now weaker then the previous season, but I must admit I was wrong. Until now Roma are doing almost perfect - two wins on the first two matches.
